About Merilyn

Merilyn Steele is a Sydney singer, songwriter and guitarist who plays classic pop, rock and retro favourites, from the 70s right through to today's artists.

Her set draws on artists like George Ezra, Amy Shark, Bernard Fanning, Adele, Alanis Morissette and Taylor Swift, alongside the retro songs everyone knows, and she chooses the songs to suit the audience, whatever their age.

She has played The Basement in Sydney with her band, as well as the Wintle Auditorium at South Juniors, the Diamond Auditorium at Blacktown Workers, Tamworth Town Hall, the Gympie Muster, the Bay of Islands Festival in New Zealand and the Canberra Rock n Blues festival.

Her solo show is fully self contained, with her own Bose PA system and lighting, and she carries public liability insurance. She plays solo on acoustic or electric guitar, and is also available as a duo or with a full band.

"You'll understand why Merilyn is much more than just another girl singer."
